Located in Reading, Pa, Spenny's Steaks & Shakes is a family-owned & operated restaurant that opened in April of 2023. Born and raised in North East Philly, Jim & his wife Mitchy grew up eating cheesesteaks “whiz wit.” After moving to the Reading area in the 90’s, they always had a vision to bring authentic Philadelphia-style cheesesteaks to the greater Reading area which led to Jim and his daughter, MC, partnering and opening up “Spenny’s.”

As avid Philadelphia sports fans, Spenny’s is heavily influenced by Philly attitude and culture. Spenny’s was born out of love for Philly and a desire to bring quality & authentic Philly cheesesteaks to their current hometown. Spenny’s is always made wit love!
